Friends of an American gun owner, whose home was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) last week in conjunction with the January 6 investigations, claim the FBI covered up security cameras and held the gun owner and his girlfriend at gunpoint.

Sharing alleged video of the FBI’s actions on X, formerly Twitter, the Hodgetwins stated, “Last week, a friend of ours was raided by the feds over J6, his name is Nathan Hughes, and he’s from Fayetteville, Arkansas.”

According to the Hodgetwins, the FBI arrested Hughes “at gunpoint,” while his girlfriend, who the Hodgetwins said had a miscarriage recently, was “held at gunpoint” and was “put in handcuffs.”

“The FBI turned off his security cameras, unplugged his internet, and flipped his house upside down in a search,” the Hodgetwins added. “The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it, too. All for protesting at the Capitol over 2 1/2 years ago.”

The Hodgetwins noted that Hughes is facing charges in relation to his participation in the January 6 Capitol riot. However, the Hodgetwins claimed that Hughes was not guilty of assaulting anyone or vandalizing anything during the events of January 6.

“He is being labeled a domestic terrorist and a traitor to his country by woke leftists and the media,” the Hodgetwins said. “Nate is just like us… he’s an outspoken American Patriot…he loves freedom, loves his country, and would do anything to preserve our rights. He’s been fighting to save our country for years now.”

The Gestapo committed widespread atrocities during its existence. The power of the Gestapo was used to focus upon political opponents, ideological dissenters (clergy and religious organisations), career criminals, the Sinti and Roma population, handicapped persons, homosexuals, and above all, the Jews.[4] Those arrested by the Gestapo were often held without judicial process, and political prisoners throughout Germany—and from 1941, throughout the occupied territories under the Night and Fog Decree (German: Nacht und Nebel)—simply disappeared while in Gestapo custody.[5]

This story didn't get much traction here, but it sure made me think. What good is a gun safe if the company gives out the reset open codes....

Hornady is also on record, saying that its systems do not have backdoor codes. Once the code is reset by the owner that is the only code.

On top of that, Old Glory Gun Safes, Cannon, and Vaultek have also confirmed they do not have access codes or backdoors into your safe.

Liberty now says you can contact them and have the combination lost (if you trust them, and I don't). Winchester safes also keep track of safe combinations, and will not answer if they give them out.

What can you do, well if you have a Liberty safe, first thing is destroy the serial number imprinted on the safe and replace the digital lock system with a manual one. The feds I guess can still drill out the locks, but at least they will have to work at it.
