LANSING, MI - The Michigan State Housing Development Authority rolled out a program last month that offers resettlement support to refugees and other immigrants.

The Newcomer Rental Subsidy provides refugees, asylees and immigrants from areas like Ukraine, Cuba, Haiti and African countries about $300 to $500 a month in rental subsidies. Assistance is available for up to 12 months.

Amy Hovey, executive director of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, said the program aligns with a goal to increase affordable housing across the state for everyone “including those seeking to build a new life here.”

The way that Michigan is going, it will soon become "a lost state" to traditional America, along with others such as California, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, and Illinois.

So glad we moved the heck out of there.

They tried to revitalize the Detroit area numerous times only to have the people destroy it.  Muslims have overtaken a whole city and now they're handing ILLEGALS a free ride. 

At this rate it will all become a cesspool like Detroit.

Unfortunately, once the liberals get their claws in a state as Whitmer has in MI, our entire nation will be turned into a 3rd world country.

Again there is something to be said for building, maintaining and increasing conservatism state by state, from the ground up.
