Then why he is running for the GOP Nomination? You know the Uniparty? Sorry, I don't need some fake rich orange fat slob to fight for me.  I can fight for myself.

No! You cannot! As you have conclusively proven many times.

Good call! Why not go "FULL Radial" and support JEB for change?

We are looking for change from the absolute corruption in Washington DC. We’re looking for a change from watching the left thrive and win since Donald Trump has come on the scene.

What you are looking for it eliminating Rude,Rich,Orange Man BECAUSE he is Rich,Rude, and Orange.

You even said to another poster not long ago the reason why you’re voting Donald Trump is to piss people like him off.

That's more of a bonus than a reason.

And there it is

I outlined many of the issues that many of us have with Donald Trump and why we are looking for somebody beyond Donald Trump.

You countered with charges of delusional and “rude orange man.” You also mentioned Jeb again, which is odd because Jeb Bush isn’t even running. You did all this because you can’t dispute anything that I have outlined and you know it.

Your reply was exactly what I was expecting.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

You are SOOO full of Clinton!

You would vote for Satan before you  would vote for "Rich,Rude,Orange Man" if Satan wasn't rich.

Pure class warfare-class jealousy.

I suspect that if Trump wins the nomination that you,and people like you ,would vote for the DNC candidate.

Trump has a ton of baggage and is facing federal charges.  He's back to his old ways.  No thank you.

If this election were about your personal sensitivities, I would tell you to go with whatever floats your boat.  But, it is not.

As to those federal charges, well, they're called criminal lawfare.  As unsettling as it is, you must at least try to understand how close this nation is to a complete totalitarian takeover of our government, judiciary and institutions.  The persecution of Donald Trump and his supporters is the ultimate push by the fascists among us to rip this nation from the anchors of its founding.  Please, stop rooting for their success.

We are NOT facing an election.

Wrong - an election is exactly what we are facing.  The rest of it is just pointless chest-thumping.

At the cost of demonizing an excellent Republican governor that has a much better handle on the constitution and how to organize an actual shift in returning to it?

I don't think so.

What part of that do you disagree with?

First, very few here are rooting for Trump's prosecution/persecution. Trump had his shot at doing something about government running amuck and totally failed, particularly on budget and DOJ matters. His persecution is not a qualifier to become president again. It isn't some sort of justice to elect him again because he's being persecuted by our corrupt government. That's an emotional response and not a logical one. He's not completely innocent in all of these matters either - he often hands the rope to the people who want to hang him. He often lies about his opponents, Cruz and DeSantis are good examples.

Second, the correct response is to elect someone who has a better chance at doing something about it - and that starts with someone that understands the constitution and how to wield it as a weapon against those who are operating well outside of it. It takes someone bold, who can organize a team and to push through to its conclusion. Trump is not that person as well demonstrated over the last 6+ years.

@DB Can you understand that I have not yet declared FOR ANY candidate in the 2024 GOP primary but most assuredly HAVE declared AGAINST several of them.

None of that has any bearing onn the truth of what I commented on.

You sound like one of the neocons demanding that we take sides with one scumbag over another.  Donald is the man who tried to discard the certified election results, and Donald's campaign theme is "retribution" whatever the hell that entails.  Did you ever consider that maybe you are encouraging the socialists to act this way?

There is a lopsided application of justice being applied to Donald Trump and his supporters and just generally anyone who disagrees with this administration. I’m not saying that Donald Trump is innocent of all the charges as that will have to be worked out in court. But there are examples after examples of ,in your face, unequal application of laws. It’s not even remotely subtle.

And this issue needs to be seriously addressed in a serious manner

But retribution is not, nor should it ever, be a reason to vote for somebody for president as the president you vote for today to get retribution is one day going to be out of office and the other side will have their chance at retribution
