As RedState reported, a Sikh convenience store owner turned the tables on a shoplifter as he attempted to get away with thousands of dollars of stolen merchandise.

The viral scene unfolded in California, showing a man shoveling entire shelves worth of tobacco and other products into a trash can while taunting the owner with proclamations that “there’s nothing you can do.” The shoplifter quickly learned that wasn’t true, though, as he was tackled to the ground and beaten with a rod.

Apparently, while many California cities have no desire to actually enforce the laws against people who steal from business owners and put them in financial peril, they are interested in enforcing battery laws involving the protection of said businesses. According to a new report, the Sikh man is now facing criminal charges as local police investigate the incident.

People in Ca that have a double-digit IQ or higher should respond by taking out adds in local papers giving the names and home addresses of judges.

On multiple occasions, caught on video, the robber says "I got my strap on, don't make me use it", which constitutes a threat of severe bodily injury or death to the proprietors.

This would be considered slam-dunk self defense, and commendable that the proprietor did not actually kill the suspect while defending themselves, in many states.

In some states, lethal force would be justifiable under the law.

One more reason I won't set foot in California.

MY worry is similar,but it concerns a Central Valley  Jury being prejudiced against a Dot Indian. The fact that it was a homie he killed might nullify that,depending on their personal experiences with  "diversity".

For example,whose kid was denied admittance to a college because the only slots left open were for AA students?
