New: CBP sources confirm that Border Patrol encountered more than 130k  migrants at the southern border last month.

An additional 50k+ were encountered by CBP Officers at the ports of entry.

Bringing the total for July to more than 183k.

There are currently 17,073 migrants in CBP custody.

Agents say after a slower month in June, we are back to unmanageable encounter numbers—And these are generally the slowest months because of the heat.

In June, CBP reported 144,571 migrant encounters.
