Court Rules for website designer in Colorado LGBTQ case

This is the case where the christian website designer asserted a First Amendment right not to make a LGBTQ website.  She won.  Good result.

Quote
GORSUCH, J., delivered the opinion of the Court, in which ROBERTS,
C. J., and THOMAS, ALITO, KAVANAUGH, and BARRETT, JJ., joined. SOTOMAYOR, J., filed a dissenting opinion, in which KAGAN and JACKSON,
JJ., joined.

Of course.  The liberals are letting their racist, fascist bona-fides hang out in this case and the affirmative racism case.

The idea of government-compelled speech should have turned the stomach of any decent person.

Megyn Kelly
@megynkelly

A spectacular day for Donald Trump whose three conservative picks for SCOTUS were integral to the historic decisions yesterday and today. Major feather in his cap and will likely (& rightfully) be touted by his campaign in coming months.

More like, congratulations to Mitch McConnell, whose picks those three justices were, and who pushed them through the Senate.

I think it was Leonard Leo and my fellow Federalist Society types (shameless plug) who had most of the input on that, though I'm sure McConnell liked them as well.

Also worth noting that the other three conservative justices in the 6-3 majorities were appointed by Bushes.  So if that's the measure of who we should nominate for President, I don't think it's of much value.

True enough.  It was the Federalist Society that picked the slate of potential justices that included Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett; however, it was McConnell who got them through the Senate confirmation process with a very divided Senate.

Gorsuch accusing Sotomayor of making stuff up and getting lost in her own web of lies is a sight to behold.

Sotomayor and Katanji whatshername write opinions that a first-year law student should be able to sniff out as BS.

At any decent law school that actually teaches law - yes; at a place like Harvard or Yale - probably not.
