No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I'd prefer Spinal Tap.  And Trump would be the kind of guy to think they're totally legit.

bele complains:
"Trump had 4 years and 2 of those 4 years he had a full majority. So, he had many opportunities and left them on the table."

Look at who that "majority" was.
Look at who led them.
Look at how little Mr. Trump actually got the support of the Congress when they were in the majority.

It weren't his fault.
Put the fault where it belongs.
On... them.

That majority was Republican period.  So, sorry, I put that fault on Trump.  If we take getting the wall built (which Cruz prompted him several times to do),  as an example, he waited until just a few days before the new Congress took place to make his move and of course it was too late.  So, would you have me believe he thought he'd have a better chance with a DEM majority led by Pelosi?  Seriously??

And what makes you think the next go-round is going to be different? Do you think there's going to be this magical wave across the nation where the American people are going to elect a bunch of Trump sycophants to Congress?

Yeah, but they didn't do the final countdown, even though theirs would have gone to 11!

@jmyrlefuller

Why is it so difficult for you to see for exactly what he describes?

It's a "FINAL BATTLE" between exposing the Anti-Chris, Barack Obama and his idea of Socialism...which doesn't include any of us or our children...and the continuation of The Republic, as Founded.

Why is it impossible to recognize the danger?  The country is already unrecognizable!

Yeah... A Captain Morgan pose, with that cape (and his comb-over) billowing behind him...
Now that's substantial. Who wouldn't vote for that...

PS: Don't tell @Meshuge Mikey ... It'll just give him ideas...

@DCPatriot and the next 4 years of an unhinged DJT may be equally dangerous.   Yes, this country is unrecognizable.  That is why we need to seat a true conservative.  DeSantis is looking pretty darn good., but he needs watching IMHO.

Many of our problems cannot be fixed in the political arena. A "true conservative" won't make much of a difference except reigning in the size of the federal government

Is RDS that guy? I don't know. His record in Congress suggests he could be. Another four years of Trump or Biden will bankrupt us
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

AGAIN: The danger is neither the Rats or the Pubes... They are symptoms.
The danger is BOTH. The danger is the very same danger that ALWAYS knocks Republics down...
The danger is Big Government.

A small government leaves no room for ANY of this.

That's the thing, though: the battle is already lost, whether you realize it or not.

If there is to be some miraculous turn of events in our society that turns us back around, it's clear that Donald Trump doesn't have what it takes to orchestrate that. Remember, there was no such thing as a "nonbinary" until Trump took office.

At this point, Trump is the only one standing between the rats' total victory and a free, prosperous and safe American people.

They aren't using only "archaic never before used laws" to indict Trump.  The NYS charges are not premised on any federal charges; they are NY law only, and that particular statute has been used frequently.  The new federal charges are based on the Espionage Act of 1917, as amended, and that statute has been used quite a number of times, including at least eight times during the Obama and Trump administrations to go after people for disclosure.

@Kamaji

Frankly,I am surprised that any  state can bring  up criminal charges against a setting President. Presidents are Federal Officials,not state officials,and any  charges against them should be Federal Charges.

PLEASE note that I am NOT a lawyur,and don't even play one on TB.

What color is the sky on your home planet?

Are you SERIOUSLY trying to claim the majority of the alleged Republicans in Congress would have supported him,even if it cut into their deals?
