Dear Fascist Newsom:  the problem is not the presence of guns, the problem is a sick culture that encourages people to handle their disputes through violence.

Guns were more prevalent 50 years ago, and yet the level of violence in this country was much lower.  It wasn't the number of guns that changed in the interim, it was the culture.

That means that the problem will not go away until and unless we do the hard work of fixing our culture.

Mandatory background checks are a thing now, ask Hunter Biden who lied on his gun purchases just how easy it was to lie and get away with it. Reasonable waiting periods (NO SUCH THING and totally goes against the 2nd amendment ... IOWs Gavin lied)... and banning "assault weapons" is just a broad way to ban any modern weapon (again he lied and said the founding fathers never wanted us to have weapons equal to a standing army)...

Amending the Constitution is an enormous undertaking; however with the underhandedness of the DEMS and that fact that they hold a Senate majority, this is concerning.

@Fishrrman this is exactly why a Constitutional Convention at this point in time in our Republic would be extremely risky.
