Transgender high school athletes no-show state track championships following backlash

Two transgender female high school athletes were no-shows for their race at the California State preliminary Track and Field Championship on Friday — a week after they clinched a spot in the elite race.

Athena Ryan, from Sonoma Academy, and Lorelei Barrett of Sherman Oaks Buckley, opted not to participate in the scheduled girl’s 1,600-meter run at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif., according to The Los Angeles Times.

“The CIF is disappointed for two of our student-athletes and their families because due to the actions of others, they found it necessary to withdraw from the State Track and Field Championships out of concern for the student’s well being,” the California Interscholastic Federation, the governing body for high school sports in California, wrote in a statement to the outlet.

The CIF expressed that the organization “strongly denounces discriminatory or harassing behaviors” the student-athletes have been subjected to and are disappointed the runners have chosen not to compete.

Of course. After the preliminary round at the CA state championship yesterday, the boys moving on to the finals in the 1600 all ran better than 4:14. The girls qualifying for the finals ran under 4:55.

In the conference meets that earned these runners a chance to compete at the state championships, "Athena" Ryan ran 4:55.91; "Lorelei" Barrett ran 4:49.56. (The slowest boy at Barrett's conference meet ran 4:19.85). Barrett barely qualified as a girl.

Seems to me that there is a plethora of data from research spanning decades concerning male athletes and their ability...male athletes are what these POS's who can't compete against those of their own sex are, there is no such thing as Trans sex. The bible says that God created man and woman in his image, THAT DOES NOT MEAN GOD CREATED A MAN AND A TRANSGENDER MAN! While there are animals and reptiles that are capable of changing their sex, humans are not.....though some clearly may appear to be animals and reptiles at times.
