I think that a lot of Democrats want Trump to be the GOP nominee, thinking that he will be the easiest Republican to beat.

What hasn't been discussed enough is that this bogus indictment already has irreparably interfered with the GOP primary.  Even if the case is dismissed or Trump eventually cleared, the interference cannot be undone.

Whether it helps or hurts Trump can be debated, but the fact that it has interfered with the GOP primary cannot.
