Nato sticks two fingers up at Putin in show of strength round US B-52 bombers

Agroup of bombers and fighter jets from the US, Spain, Italy and Romania have flown across Europe in a display of strength from Nato directed at Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Footage captured from the cockpit of a US B-52 bomber – one of two to take part in the action – shows the aircraft travelling over the continent.
The video was posted on Twitter by Nato Air Command yesterday, in a demonstration of unity as concern grows about Russia’s potential next moves in the war in Ukraine.
The tweet said: ‘The B-52s are training with Allied Air Forces during their BTF [Bomber Task Force] mission strengthening our Euro-Atlantic partnership.’
