Juror 785 is brought into court and Judge Newman informs her of his decision.

“It’s going to require me to remove you from the jury. You have been, by all accounts, a great juror.”

He says she has been attentive and performed well, always smiling.

“With all the time you’ve invested in the case, you probably hate not to continue, or maybe you want to go,” says Judge Newman.

I didn’t realize this paper has been covering the entire trial. Quite a good resource if you’re like me and following it- Not to mention saw the Netflix documentary

The jury has the case now...I predict a hung jury..not that I think he is innocent..quite the contrary..I think the Defense has provided reasonable doubt.

Well, the jury looked at the actual facts, and applied them with common sense.  They didn't permit themselves to be swayed by an expert bullshitter.

A juror in Alex Murdaugh's bombshell double murder trial said the panel reached its decision in about 45 minutes, revealing it was the dog kennel video and the convicted killer's own words that sank him, according to a new report.

Craig Moyer told ABC News that when the panel first discussed the case Thursday, nine members voted guilty, two voted not guilty and one was on the fence. For Moyer, it was guilty from the outset.

"We started deliberating, going through the evidence, everybody was pretty much talking, and about 45 minutes later, after all our deliberating, we figured it out," he said.
