The Russian military rolled across the northern and southern borders as well.

Just because Joe Biden sucks doesn't mean we shouldn't be opposing Russia's egregious aggression.  When such aggression goes unchecked, really bad things end up happening.

Partial transcript:

Quote
The foreign policy apparatus in Washington was happy to hate Russia again after 40 years of cold war. Hating Russia was muscle-memory, so they signed on to the Russia collusion hoax.

It had the twin benefits of paralyzing the Trump administration, which it did, and justifying the expansion of the national security state.

As the years passed and the rhetoric intensified, hysteria set in.

After a while, anybody with a heterodox opinion, from right-wingers to avowed socialists, could be accused of working secretly with Vladimir Putin.

Many were accused and some were destroyed by it. It was a textbook witch hunt - far more effective than McCarthyism.  Unlike McCarthyism, it never ended.

Russia remained America’s greatest enemy, even as China emerged as America’s greatest threat.

For generations, statesmen and diplomats worked to prevent other great powers from aligning as a block against the U.S.

The idea was pretty straightforward.

You might be able to beat one strong country, but if a couple strong countries ever got together, we would lose.

This is why Richard Nixon went to China, to make sure the Chinese government didn’t align with Brezhnev, with the Russians.

Donald Trump understood this very clearly.

Russia will never be our closest ally, he said, but if Russia ever becomes China’s ally, we are in deep trouble.

The combination of natural resources, military and economic power, and sheer population would make the Russia-Chinese alliance the most powerful force in the world.

The United States would soon be dethroned - we would be taking orders.

As Trump put it, there’s no reason to make Russia our enemy, and there are many reasons not to.

It was a sound case, but official Washington ignored it.

Their response, shouted in unison: "Shut up, Putin stooge!", and then they set about trying to provoke a war with Russia.

Now they have succeeded.

Now they have succeeded.

None of that has any bearing on what Russia has done.  Russia alone invaded a sovereign nation.  Russia alone is responsible.  They own it.  And nations are responding to it - not because they hate Russian, but because they hate what Russia has done.

Once Russia reverses course and withdraws from Ukraine, this war ends.

I have no problem with Tucker Carlson expressing his criticism of US policy.  However, none of that has a single thing to do with the cause of this war.  The ONLY reason this war exists is because Russia chose to violate the sovereignty of Ukraine.  And until they choose to reverse course, this war will continue.  This war is about resources and territory.  Putin and his oligarch buddies wanted it.  So they decided to start a war over it.  They alone did this.  Not Zelenskiy.  Not Biden.  Not Trump.  Not Obama.  Not Donald Rumsfeld.  Not anyone other than Putin and his advisors.  They did this.  They are responsible.  And they alone are the ones holding the power to end it.

So people can rail all they want to (and rightfully so) about all the corruption of the Biden regime.  But the bottom line here is that Russia invaded a sovereign country - a sovereign country who is ONLY asking to be supplied with the arms needed to defeat their invaders.  Any reasonable person would do the same thing.  And it is not Ukraine's fault that Biden is corrupt.

You are claiming credibilty with NE Jurist, judges, and the overall legal system in liberal areas?  Did you even notice how the legal system was being manipualted during the '20 election steal?   Everything was copasetic there too?     Oh BTW, and no one lies under oath either huh?  Especially those like CNN driving this, who has a direct finanancial and competitive problem with Fox (Carlson).

In my profession, I dealt with lawyers on a consistent basis, and know how the narrative can be manipulated.  Don't be manipulated yourself.

Tucker Carlson has done more to expose left wing hypocricy than any one else in his profession, and it is pretty disheartening when I see Briefers who claim to be conservatives carrying the water for the likes of WaPo, NYT, CNN, and MSNBC.

So you didn't read the filing, eh?  Carlson's emails and text messages were subpoenaed and attached as exhibits to the legal document, and his deposition testimony given under oath.  They're absolutely real, and he said what he said himself.

So your attack on the messengers fails here.

You can't be that naive.  In the world of "op-ed", opinons, tactics for ratings, and overall info  are fluid, dynamic and fast changing.  You are chiding Tucker for something that MSNBC, and CNN does on a daily and ongoing fashion.  This  is just showing how disingenious you are on the matter.  And I am really suspcious of what your motives are.

Opinions, and how you manage those opinions can change through time.  Hell, I was pretty damned pro-Trump a few years ago.  Now?  I'd wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire, and I hope daily he'll fade off into the sunset. Carlson wants to stomp his competition into oblivion, and I am all for it.

Attack the Messenger?  Ask Tucker, and wonder why specific so called conservatives who happen to be alligned with Turdle, Biden, Schumer, and Zelinskyyyyyyyy are doing the same.   Coincidence?

Haven’t you been reading the news lately concerning the revelations/taped recordings that Carlson, Hannity, and Ingraham were calling Giuliani, Powell, and some others claiming election fraud crazy after Trump lost to Biden?
In short, those three privately admitted that Trump lost but led their viewers on in their belief of a stolen election. The three main FOX talking heads didn’t believe it for a second.
Carlson’s other claim about Jan 6 being an FBI false flag operation is complete bullsh*t.

Dude, those aren't opinions or reports, but Carlson's OWN WORDS from his OWN TEXT MESSAGES and his OWN EMAILS, and his OWN DEPOSITION TESTIMONY in a federal court case.

If you refuse to understand that and remain willfully blind, then there's not much else to say to you.

If you refuse to understand that and remain willfully blind, then there's not much else to say to you.

Are you sure certain emails were cherry picked or edited?  Or understand that sometimes settling a suit is a advantageous and most expeditious than wrestling in the mud with the MSM?

Let me also give a cold hard fact of how businesses operate.....

The 3 talking heads you mention, might have had their own (even morphing) opinions around the '20 election.  Still Fox managment is their boss, and they have to convey whatever the narrative is.  And to be honest, you don't think these 3 had varying levels of change in their POV on this as the facts changed?

The same could be said about own career.  In private, I might convey an idea or posiiton that might not be aligned or consistent with my boss the Plant Manager.....  , but as long as my boss' opinion was legal, I had an obligation to carryout that opinion .  I spoke my peace, but he was the boss.

Which leads me to my final question.....   You don't think the '20 election was stolen?    Let me know, and reasons why

Substance over style, people.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.
