I found a great old show on Hulu that I missed when it was first run back in the day (because of school)

Moonlighting. Just dropped and it's so much fun to watch a really good show from the 80s and to see how young everyone looked.

plus the two assistant leads are hilarious!

Hubby and i watched that show when it first came on. Thirtysomething came on after it.
That was pretty good TV and we were young parents.
Brothers, sisters, come on down to that river
Guaranteed you'll never be the same

Bring your sins and all your guilty stains
Let that river of life wash it all away

Watching the movie Night Shift, with Michael Keaton and Henry Winkler.  What a hilarious movie.  Haven't seen it in years.

Oh that one was funny! Wasn't the blonde actress (Diane) from Cheers on it too?

I'm watching The Voice. Even though it's been on forever, I've only watched one season quite some time ago. I decided to watch because of Reba. Dang...there are some killer singers on there this season.

Yes @Gefn

You've got me thinking about the casting...superb!

Michael Keaton...when you think of him in Pacific Heights you can appreciate his range.

Henry Winkler as the hapless, self-deprecating morgue attendant...funny movie!

Anybody else watching  "The Vikings" Won Primetime Emmy awards 3 years running.

First class writing and acting, but given the title, you should be able to figure out it is not without blood and violence.

BTW,I am watching it on Amazon Prime, but there are other outlets broadcasting it.

Watching "The Man In The High Castle" first season. The wife and I have made it through four episodes so far attempting to figure out what is going on.
I read the novel by Philip Dick about fifty years ago, and I can't remember a single damn thing.
It's set in the early sixties. The Germans and the Japanese have won WWII. There is a resistance movement, and various characters are members and trying to coordinate their activities.
One really irritating about the series: the cinematography is standard, modern lousy dark. It's filmed like there weren't enough light bulbs for proper lighting. So, virtually every scene, even in the daytime, looks like it was filmed at midnight with one stinking candle for the lighting.
Why modern moviemakers choose to film their movies where you can barely see what's going on is beyond me.
Even with that very irritating circumstance, the series still has us interested.
We shall see what develops....if we can see what's going on.

1999 The Straight Story

Man, His Lawnmower, and a brother that wants to see his brother that had a stroke a state over from where he lives.

Very slow and sweet...

The movie is on Youtube with goofy subtitles (but original audio is intact).

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. Night Shift, yes the chick that plays the next door neighbor/hooker is Shelley Long, who was on Cheers.

Watching Suits right now.  Binge watching it.  Four seasons in.  Fine display of how rotten lawyers are, even to each other.

Law and Order,Criminal Intent

Missed most of it during it's original run. I don't think I started watching it until the last  two seasons,so now I went back and started at Season 1,Episode 1,and am  working my way forward.

BTW,same deal with all the  other Law and  Order franchises. Didn't start watching them until  late in the  run,and am knocking them down now,one series at a time.

That was my favorite Law and Order , but then I also had a crush on Robert Goren.

Watched "FERRY: The Series", an eight(8) episode piece on Netflix.

Original is in Dutch with subtitles, but you can choose English audio also.

This is a continuation of 'FERRY", which is a combination of LILYHAMMER & BREAKING BAD

Last Night's episode of the Simpsons- Tree House of Horror 34.

One of the very best in the annual Halloween Tree Houses.

1. Made fun of NFT's and Snowpiercer.

2. Lisa an Sideshow Bob were doing Silence of the Lambs with a huge twist. (What if Sideshow Bob had murdered Bart in the "Cape Fear episode from years ago)

3. Homer eats a radio active donut while complaining about the "nanny state"

Dunno if I am the only Simpsons fan here though.

Try CHANCE on Hulu. It is Dr. House doing Dr. House stuff.
I liked it.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
