@Slide Rule

I disagree. ALL children need an education, but where "we" went wrong was forgetting to monitor what the children were being taught.

Not to mention making "educators" an official government position to the point where it is almost impossible to fire them, regardless of how incompetent or purposely harmful to the American way of life they may be.

We put too much faith in degrees, and not enough focus on learning the basics.

Teachers/school systems today are free to teach any damn nonsense that the "Educators" find trendy and heart-warming to their own political biases.

Then,we,the parents, made things worse by completely ignoring what the children were being taught as long as they got good grades.

NO! Where we went wrong was allowing the gooberment to have ANYTHING to do with the educating our children! @sneakypete
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Ya Hit it directly. No government involvement.

Better if no involvement with children what so ever.

SAN FRANCISCO BAKERY REFUSES TO SERVE UNIFORMED OFFICERS TO PROTECT ‘PEOPLE OF COLOR AND QUEERS’

by BOBBY BURACK

https://www.outkick.com/san-francisco-bakery-refuses-to-serve-uniformed-officers-to-protect-people-of-color-and-queers/

A restaurant in San Francisco recently refused to serve a uniformed police officer.

Police union president Lt. Tracy McCray inquired about the incident at Reem’s California in the
Mission District, only to learn of the bakery’s updated policy:

“NO COPS ALLOWED.”

“Reem’s confirms that they will not serve anyone armed and in uniform. Presumably, this includes
members of the US Military,” the San Francisco Police Officers Association (SFPOA) says it learned.

“We’re asking them to own their discriminatory policy & and put up a sign so we know not to spend
money in your establishment—on or off duty. We took the liberty of designing one for them.”

ROFLMAO!

It's more like an old "Saturday Night  Live" news skit from the old tv show than an actual press release by a court. I am surprised they didn't hire Chevy Chase to make the announcement.

They couldn't possibly  be MORE obvious about interfering with an election.

I wasn't a homeschooler but I did give classes to my son starting in the 8th grade.

Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Economics, and Photography during summers.

His math aptitude tested at 99.7 while mine tests at 99.8.  He learns best with
auditory basis so I gave him verbal tests.

I also coached T ball, basketball, and soccer.

Colorado School Tells Young Boy He Can't Have'Don't Tread On Me' Patch Because it's Racist'

https://www.outkick.com/the-vanguard-school-gadsden-flag-controversy-slavery/

The Gadsden flag goes back to the time of the Revolutionary War.

The flag’s roots are not in slavery or the slave trade, but instead in the Revolutionary War. It was used by Esek Hopkins,
the country’s first naval commander in chief, during the Revolutionary War, according to Britannica. The flag has lived on
as a symbol of American independence and a sign of remaining free.

It has literally nothing to do with racism when viewed by anyone with a knowledge of history. Colorado Governor Jared
Polis essentially tweeted the same Tuesday morning.

This piece will be updated if anyone from The Vanguard School returns any of our many requests
for comment. As of right now, it’s completely silent on that front.

@Slide Rule

Seems to ME  the ones that need to take history  classes the most in Colorado  are the teachers.

Providing of course they don't go back to the diploma mills that sold them their diplomas in the first place.
