I did a query about AR-15 style rifles only and got this stat:
According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, there were an estimated 24.4 million AR-15s in private circulation in the United States in 2020. According to a 2021 Georgetown University poll of gun owners in the US, 24.6 million persons have an AR-15 or a comparable firearm in their possession.

Do the math. 352,000 rifles per 1 murder. 352 million rifles is 1,000 murders for rifles. 21,000 gun murders+- for the year 2021.

You are reading the ratio wrong. It says that only one out of every 352,000 is used to commit murder.
This means that if 3.5 million are sold, 10 will be used for murder.
