I am a trained soldier. As such, man i tell ya, it has been hard not to knock some sense into ...
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

@Smokin Joe

I was invited to the birthday of my ex's oldest daughter. The "girl" just turned 45? Seems impossible,but there it was.

Anyway,I was sitting in a law chair between my ex and her mother (who told me back when her girls were teens that I was free to take either one of them with me anywhere I went because she knew they would be safe) ,and some dingbat shows up  to ask my ex why she is sitting next to me and why was I invited. I started to pay attention when my ex fell into her "bitch  voice" (a voice I know VERY well),and told that dingbat,"I have known him since I was 17  years old!",shutting that dingbat down.

Chances are her husband or a brother managed to piss me off back in the days when I was still drinking,and I had to correct him. AFAIK,I have never seen that woman before in my life,but I obviously left an impression on her.

Living on past glory may suck,but at least I HAD some glory at one time. Damn shame I can't remember any  of it. Closest I can come is one time my work truck broke down maybe 20 miles from where the road crew I was working with were working,so I got out in hot sun to hitchhike to where they were so we could get it fixed. This was back in the pre-cell phone days.

 So I am standing along the road hitchhiking,and a new custom van stops to pick me up. The guy driving it is a guy I knew on sight and as far as *I* know,we had never had a moment of trouble in the several years I had known him.  Even dated his oldest sister a few times.

So I get it,and the guy tells me,"I didn't want to pick you up,but I was afraid you would rip the side of my new van off if I didn't."

So I just growled at him and told him where to take  me.

Sometimes it works out,and sometimes it doesn't. To this day I have no idea what he was mad about.
:laugh: I get you!

Yeah. I recall being at a bike show and a guy came up to me and said, sort of apologetically, "I really don't want any troubles with you."  I thought for a second, and just told him, "Let's just start over with a clean slate, then, and keep it that way."  He said "Thanks!" and slipped away.

Not sure what that was about, but I didn't want to start any crap a couple hundred miles form home.  :shrug:

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Usually the best thing to do in situations like that is to just "go with the flow".
