It's a sad fact that academic snobbery has a prejudice against people who get actual dirt and grime on their hands, despite a lot of trades people wearing at least nitrile gloves any more.

Yeah,but the sweet revenge is when they have to call one of those "rednecks" to come fix something,and it costs them a weeks pay for a job that only took a couple of hours.
