You do realize that the massive mismanagment of governmental funds is why deserving people like you will suffer the most.  For every dollar being needed to being spent on the deserving, a 100 is being wasted on entitlement slugs.  Check CBO office numbers on what is spent on veteran affairs versus general welfare and grift for urban America.  You might be shocked.

That is why that $15T in debt additonally  matters Pete. 

BTW,I AM bothered by it. Given the political games that are played,along with the corruption and incompetence associated with government,I am wary of any "sudden changes due to popular demand" because we ALL know who is going to get hit the hardest.

And this isn't even taking into consideration the rank incompetence of so many senior administrators that were put in their position because they have a relative that is a Congresscritter or US Senator.

Give me a 5  year budget plan that isn't draconian,but DOES cut at the waste and corruption,and I'm with you 100 percent,but we ALL know that if sudden demands are made that the political pros are going to "game the system" to where the people and programs that are truly needy get hit first,and hit the hardest. They will do that in an attempt to turn the voters away from eliminating their jobs.


Across the board is at risk of losing in default.   You don't need to be put in the woods.  The criminal government and their misguided priorities are the ones who deserve that fate.

So don't direct your snark at me.....  I am one of those trying to save us, by advocating fiscal sanity.

I am NOT being snarky towards you. It just seems like you and  the others like you are demanding "too much,too soon",and the end result of that would be public outrage and demands to stop doing it and restore any cuts already  made.

Too much,too soon never ends well.
