Oh no..
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

Egypt is in a distinct area known as North Africa which is much different than the rest of the continent.

I have been there. It is a dangerous place. It is a filthy decrepit shithole. Most of the more modern buildings and infrastructure they use today were built by European colonists a hundred years ago. Many are crumbling and failing from lack of maintenance.

Egypt 3,000 years ago was quite a different place.

Agreed. But still not nearly as advanced as other modern countries, mostly because of their obsession with Islam. There are people there who still live in the mindset of 3000 years ago. There are people/groups in Egypt who want to destroy the pyramids (and all archeology) and to go back to the way things were when Muhammed was alive, like so many other Islamic countries do. It is not a 'nice place' to visit.

Nonetheless, Egypt is one of the progenitors of human civilization.

Like Persia, Iraq, Ottomans, and others, that was all before Islam traded science and reason for war and fanaticism.
Now, they are all stagnant backward countries compared to Western standards.

Maybe so; however, the early Islamic states contributed quite substantially to human civilization.
