Maricopa County is run by Republicans.

Four of the five members of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors are Republicans.

Remember this as Republicans make their baseless fraud claims.

Voter Suppression? Average Wait Time To Vote In Georgia Is Two Minutes

Georgia polls have an average wait time of two minutes per voter across the entire state according the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, WABE News reporter Rahul Bali reported Tuesday.

Bali reported that the polls had maintained a two-minute wait time, and pointed to results as early as 7 p.m. EST, despite claims that Georgia’s voter laws are “suppressive.” In past elections, Georgia voters have reported voter suppression after waiting in long lines, but early voting and an updated voter information page seem to have brought wait times down.

What a lie.  Imagine, if you will, that this was happening in Detroit, or some other black-majority district.  There would be screams and cries of systemic racism and voter disenfranchisement.

The waiting on election day really sucks.  For those who have the luxury of being able to drink, the best approach to election day is to be at the polls at 7am to cast your vote.  Then go back home and start drinking heavily.  Drink until passing out around noon.  Then have your alarm set for 8 pm and your coffee maker set to brew a pot at the same time.  Put on your bathrobe, pour yourself a bowl of corn flakes, then turn on the TV.

Maybe that's what @corbe did.

The polls in some state somewhere are closing in seven minutes.  No clue which state.

3 Tulsa poll workers could face charges after denying city council ballots to voters, sheriff says

Christina Maxouris  |  26 minutes ago

At least three poll workers in Tulsa County’s Precinct 77 were relieved of their duties Tuesday after authorities received reports that they were not handing out city council ballots to certain voters, Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado said in a news conference.

The Oklahoma county sheriff said he received video with allegations that poll workers were not giving the city council ballot to Republican voters on Tuesday morning and that “they were only being given to Democrats, Independents and Libertarians.”

The Tulsa County Election Board received a report about the incident at roughly 7:45 a.m. local time, contacted poll workers to instruct them they were supposed to give city council ballots along with the state ballots to voters and “they began handing out the city council ballots ... at 8 a.m.,” said Gwen Freeman, the election board secretary. The poll workers were relieved of their duties and new poll workers were assigned, Freeman said. A total of about 30 to 40 people who voted in the morning were impacted, Freeman said.

Democrats are already saying not to expect results until the beginning of next year. Apparently there are crazy bad problems with the vote and Democrats need another couple of months to make things right, the way they are supposed to be.

Not so good news from Wisconsin:

Dane County runs out of ballots

HENRY REDMAN - 2:37 PM

In an early afternoon tweet, Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell said he already had to order more ballots in a sign that turnout was high in the largely Democratic county.

“Just had to reorder some ballots,” he wrote. “I ordered a lot of ballots.  So take that as some sort of tea leaf.”

In an email from the Dane County Clerk’s office, the county reported that 47,551 ballots had been counted as of 11 a.m., which is approximately 27% of registered voters.

The county is on track for about 85% turnout. In 2018, Gov. Tony Evers carried the county with more than 220,000 votes.

This shouldn't be happening.  Let's here a big round of applause for Ronna McDaniel!!
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Evers will be re-elected. Micheals has run a weak campaign
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
