House Republicans release 1,000-page report alleging politicization in the FBI, DOJ
Whistleblowers say FBI is 'rotted at its core' in Republican report on alleged misconduct

By Chris Pandolfo | Fox News

House Republicans on Friday released a new report detailing whistleblower allegations of FBI misconduct and politicization at the highest levels of the Department of Justice.

"The Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the stewardship of Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, is broken," the GOP report states. "The problem lies not with the majority of front-line agents who serve our country, but with the FBI's politicized bureaucracy."

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee say this report is "the first comprehensive accounting of the FBI's problems to date, which undermine the FBI's fundamental law-enforcement mission."

The report features testimony from whistleblowers who describe FBI leadership in Washington, D.C., as "rotted at its core." They allege a "systemic culture of unaccountability" and say the bureau is beset by "rampant corruption, manipulation, and abuse."

You think DOJ and FBI are weaponized on behalf of Dems now?
They are about to become much more vicious and dangerous after next Tuesday.

I think we can count on this. If the GOP gets control in Congress, it's entirely up to them to fix this mess.

Yes. Except with their past track record the GOP usually doesn't do squat.  They had a full majority for years and did nothing.

Conservative leadership is needed to succeed; Mitch and McCarthy just aren't who the GOP needs.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Yeah, I share your skepticism that the GOP will do anything to end FBI and CIA corruption.

House GOP releases 1,000 page report on FBI, DOJ: ‘broken,’ ‘political institution,’ among claims
NOVEMBER 04, 2022 JUSTIN COOPER

The FBI is “broken” and both it and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have become “political institutions,” according to a new 1,000-page report released by House Republicans as the party prepares to launch investigations ahead of expected midterm gains in Congress.

“Multitudes of whistleblowers” over the last year described FBI leadership as “rotted at its core” with “rampant corruption, manipulation and abuse,” and that it maintains a “systemic culture of unaccountability,” the report said.

The root of the problem is with the FBI’s leadership in Washington, D.C., which is made up of “politicized actors with politicized incentives” who push the agency to meet political objectives, according to the report.

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

Not to worry,folks!

The alleged Department of Justice will make sure justice is served just as soon as they finish investigating the Department of Justice.

Nothing to see here,move on.

@rangerrebew

This might have been breaking news to those people living in "fly over country" back in the 30's and 40's,when Miss J Edgar had her death grip on the Feebs and their records,but it's hard to believe that there is anyone today who still has faith in the FBI.

BREAKING: The FBI under the leadership of Director Wray and chief of staff Jon Lenzner (a Democrat and Clinton donor) has been shifting personnel and other resources from Islamic counterterrorism to domestic terrorism (Trump), public corruption (Trump) and counterespionage (Trump). This is an acceleration of a trend started under the leadership of Director Comey. A June 2017 email from Peter Strzok reveals that former Comey deputy and then-acting director McCabe reassigned counterterrorism agents to investigate Trump. "I still need to email CT [CounterTerrorism Division] to let them know about the bodies they're losing," Strzok wrote. (Wray's top aide Lenzner contributed at least $1,700 to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, Federal Election Commission records show.)

Trump was right about many things, but was mostly ineffective as President.  He could have cleaned up the FBI and DOJ on his watch, but instead the FBI while he was President got FaceBook and Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story so that it didn't spread virally, but was limited in effect to readers of The New York Post and right-of-center discussion boards (where most of the readers already weren't voting for Biden).

The problem with Trump is not that he's wrong about the issues, but that he's so narcissistic, ignorant about the functioning of the government and the Constitution, and oblivious to advice that he cannot effectively translate his correct understanding of the issues into meaningful policy, nor implement policies even when he had them in reach as President, nor delegate authority to people who would have.

Would you please be kind enough to explain how you think ANY president could do those things on his own initiative alone? I'm sincerely interested in reading that. @The_Reader_David
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

@Bigun

You are missing the point,which is not about how ineffective everyone else it,it's about  how ineffective Trump is supposed to be.

FOCUS,DAMMIT!

How are we supposed to get another RINO in the WH if you people refuse to pay attention and continue to vote for "Rude Orange Man"?
