Pompeo said "it doesn't make any difference who else decides to run or who else decides not to run" in his calculation to run for president.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke with CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge on Friday and said he would run for president even if former President Donald Trump were in the race.
 
"If former President Trump seeks the Republican nomination. Would you stay out of the race?" Herridge asked.

Well, in a couple of weeks I think Trump will announce whether or not he intends to run.  Keep in mind also the DEMS have another year or so to drag him in and out of court to try and keep him from running again.

If Trump was a smart man, and not an egotistical ass hole, he would keep his mouth and his powder dry.  The more the Rats go after him, the more support he will have.

   It's a money policy and not a campaign strategy, the sooner they get in the earlier they can suck up the Anti~Trump $$$. 

   It's why Wendy Davis and Beto are 3 time losers in Texas. 

   I don't think Trump will announce till late January at the earliest (if he does).
