(PA) Morning Call/Muhlenberg College poll shows Lisa Scheller, Susan Wild in ‘dead heat’ for Lehigh Valley’s seat in Congress



Candidates Susan Wild and Lisa Scheller are locked in a “statistical dead heat” for the Lehigh Valley’s seat in Congress, a new Morning Call/Muhlenberg College poll shows.

According to findings from a survey conducted Oct. 12 through Oct. 14, 47% of voters favor incumbent Congresswoman Wild while 46% prefer Scheller.

Wild beat Scheller by 14,000 votes in a close race for the seat in 2020, but the district was redrawn in 2020, which added all of conservative Carbon County and makes re-election an uphill battle for Wild. The tight race could play a role in determining which party takes control of the House of Representatives after November.

Wild has voted 100% of the time with Biden and Pelosi.  Yet she claims to be independent of the Democrat leadership.

Looking down the list, 204 House Democrats have a 99% or better voting record with Biden.
