China has opened dozens of "overseas police service stations" around the globe to monitor its citizens living abroad, including one location in New York City and three in Toronto.

"These operations eschew official bilateral police and judicial cooperation and violate the international rule of law, and may violate the territorial integrity in third countries involved in setting up a parallel policing mechanism using illegal methods," reads a report by Safeguard Defenders, a human rights watchdog, released earlier this month.

The report, titled "110 Overseas: Chinese Transnational Policing Gone Wild," details China's extensive efforts to combat "fraud" by its citizens living overseas, in part by opening several police stations on five continents that have assisted Chinese authorities in "carrying out policing operations on foreign soil." ...

The Chinese government has claimed that the stations provide vital services to its citizens living abroad, though the report notes that many of the services are those that would be traditionally carried out by an overseas embassy. Instead, the report argues that the stations have been used to enhance China's overseas law enforcement capabilities in possible violation of international law.

The report also outlines the potential human rights abuses associated with the stations, including using harassment and intimidation methods, such as threatening the family members of the overseas citizens. The stations have also served as centers to spread Chinese government propaganda and monitor the behavior and opinions of Chinese nationals. ...

Does anyone actually believe that China will limit
these stations' "enforcement activities" (arrests, etc.)
to only its own citizens living abroad?

No doubt that China will deny that these stations' officers are arresting anyone.
But among themselves, they'll justify their "disappearing" of people
by looking to the CIA as setting the precedent for what China will be doing.

The United States is deeply concerned about the Chinese government setting up unauthorized "police stations" in U.S. cities to possibly pursue influence operations, FBI Director Christopher Wray told lawmakers Thursday.

Safeguard Defenders, a Europe-based human rights organization, published a report in September revealing the presence of dozens of Chinese police "service stations" in major cities around the world, including New York.

Republicans in Congress have requested answers from the Biden administration about their influence. ...

Wray, asked by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., if such stations violated U.S. law, said the FBI was "looking into the legal parameters." ...

Canadian police investigating alleged Chinese 'police stations'
The two alleged stations are in Montreal and Brossard, officials said.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have identified two alleged Chinese police stations in Quebec and are investigating them, RCMP confirmed in a statement to ABC News Friday.

The two alleged stations are in Montreal and Brossard, RCMP Sergeant Charles Poirier said.

"The RCMP recognizes that Canadians of Chinese origin have been victims of the possible activities conducted by these centres," Poirier said. "These activities and any other form of intimidation, harassment or harmful targeting of diaspora communities or individuals in Canada will not be tolerated."

Because the investigation is ongoing, RCMP could not offer further details on the situation, Poirier said. ...

Deport EVERY Chinese citizen in America first that is here on some sort of visa. They have been going to our universites here since the 1970's,and maybe earlier,and stealing our research secrets to send  back to China.

BTW,arrest and execute ANY American politician that supported  them for treason.
