AOC: We Need More Immigration Because Young People Not Having Kids Due to ‘Burdens of Capitalism’

Admitted socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that America needs more immigration because young people are simply not having enough kids.

Citing the “burdens of capitalism,” Ocasio-Cortez issued her defense of unfettered immigration in an Instagram post this week, saying young people simply cannot afford children in this economic system.

“There are quite a few countries that are really struggling because young people, under the burdens of capitalism and living in a society that is increasingly concentrating wealth among the rich, we’re not having kids. Or we’re not having kids at the same rate,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“And we actually need immigrant populations to help balance things out. We can’t continue to fund social security, Medicare, all of this stuff without immigrants. And it’s always been that way. Don’t act like this is some new trend or anything like that,” she added.

The socialist congresswoman from New York issued her passionate defense of immigration after she said that migrants are a “blessing” as rent exponentially rises in her own district.

Stupid b*tch. I'd be amazed at the things my kids would have had if it were not for paying a big chunk of my paycheck in taxes to support other people's kids.

Keep in mind, no child ever left my house hungry unless they were headed home for dinner--and they had the option to eat with us), we consistently gave to charity, never expecting any return nor a tax deduction for material gifts. As for birth rate...Well, 5 kids, total, 13 grandkids, 11 great grandkids (so far)...I think the family is doing fine in that department.
But children are prized in our households, not some lump of tissue.

It isn't the 'burdens of Capitalism' that have stopped anything, gainful employment is considered a good thing, but the burdens of supporting socialist programs that tell us that the sky is green and the grass is blue and we need to give more (ultimately, at gunpoint) to people we allegedly oppress by working hard and being successful that makes life more difficult.

By "burdens of capitalism" she means a generation that was raised in public schools by members of teachers unions, then went to college by borrowing government money they did not pay back, so the snowflakes got the debt forgiven.

In the face of central banking and deficit spending, there is no real capitalism anywhere in the world today, and yet the politicians are out there blaming all of the problems caused by central planning on the free market.  And the worst part is, people are buying it because they are afraid.

If the burdens of capitalism are so horrendous why are millions of people escaping their socialist wonderlands and flooding across our border into our capitalist hellhole? Seems to me Hungary had a better solution for increasing their native population over indiscriminate migration.....tax relief for those who increased the native population by birth. In America we give all the relief and benefits to the illegals while increasing the back breaking burden of taxes on the legal.

As a member of the majority in the US House of Representatives, AOC could ask the Dems to start holding public hearings to investigate why the price of housing, education, and medicine have been rising faster than the rate of inflation for decades.  She has not chosen to do so, or, Nancy Pelosi has not allowed her to.

If there was true competitive free market capitalism, more homes would be under construction to meet demand.  NIMBY's, conservationists (snobs), and government zoning restrictions restrict supply by preventing construction.

If there was true competitive free market capitalism, college tuition would be lower because high tutions would not be subsidized by Federally guaranteed student loans.

If there was true competitive free market capitalism, prescription drug prcices would be lower due to multiple suppliers competing for business.

"Capitalism" is failing because government prevents development, subsidizes high prices, and our corrupt insider-trading Government offiicials have allowed and benefitted from our economy being dominated by unfair foreign competitors, monopolies, dualopolies, oligarchies, cartels, collusion, and anti-competitive practices.

AOC is a member of Congress.  She is in a position to do something about high housing, education, and medical costs.
