Across even the most developed and industrious European nations–across Germany and across France, including even Paris–the lights are going out and citizens are being instructed to take cold showers.

You would be forgiven for thinking the end times were approaching, or that WWIII had broken out; but no, this is an entirely self-inflicted blow, one rooted in the establishment’s transparent and absurd ruse to ‘save the planet’.

Make no mistake, the miseries being endured by Europeans–and indeed much of the global population–land squarely at the feet of the AGW Party, or more directly at their arm of extreme tree-hugging activists which I liken to the Hitler Youth — that is, indoctrinated beyond all hope and past all scope of reality.

Looks like the Irish will have to return to buring peat for cooking and heat.

This is ironic since there have been recent natural gas discoveries off the Irish coast.

Once the Irish banned smoking in bars, I knew they were done.

They allowed themselves to be re-colonized, by the E.U. this time.

That's what they get for throwing their lot in with French, German, and Belgian socialists.

If the Irish are brainwashed enough to ban artificial fertilizer, there could be a repeat of the Great Famine of the 1840s.

I expected more defiant independence from a people who fought Anglo-Norman occupation for 800 years.

Well, at least the Irish fisherman are a defiant lot.

My mum owns a small café in Leicester. Her electricity bill has just jumped from £10k ($12k) a year to £55k ($64k) a year.  She is working out her options but more than likely she will be forced to close.
