Free Speech Systems filed for chapter 11, the second time Infowars has turned to bankruptcy to try to resolve Sandy Hook families’ defamation lawsuits

Alex Jones put the company behind his Infowars conspiracy site into bankruptcy on Friday as the broadcast host stands trial in Texas to determine how much he owes the families of Sandy Hook victims for spreading falsehoods about the shooting.

Mr. Jones signed a chapter 11 petition for Free Speech Systems LLC, the parent company of Infowars and his co-defendant in ongoing defamation cases in Texas and Connecticut stemming from his false statements about the Sandy Hook school shooting.
