The party’s proposed platform calls for defunding the centers, which are a lifeline for many pregnant women.Although the Texas Democrat Party didn’t pass their new platform last week, a drafted version passed by their temporary platform committee gives insight into the party’s continued leftward lunge ahead of the November election.
Their latest target? Crisis pregnancy centers.
Crisis pregnancy centers are a lifeline for women facing unexpected pregnancies, offering access to resources like baby formula, clothes, shelter, and pregnancy and parenting classes.
“The life-saving Texas Pregnancy Care Network serves hundreds of thousands of Texans, including with parenting and adoption help. Democrats once again prove they’re not pro-CHOICE, they’re really just pro-abortion.”
