Fake News CNN Mixes Climate Fiction With Facts To Push Hurricane Doom

hurricane ida shoreIt seems CNN just can’t play it straight with climate research when it goes against the narrative that climate change is making extreme weather worse.

Case in point is a story published by CNN that details a peer-reviewed study showing climate change is likely contributing to a decline in hurricanes globally. [bold, links added]

The CNN story, titled “Hurricane numbers are decreasing in every ocean basin except for one, study finds,” starts out mostly accurately reporting that recent research published in the peer-reviewed journal Nature Climate Change concluded that the annual number of hurricanes globally, and in each hurricane basin, has declined significantly since the 1850s.

Debated a guy a couple of years ago over just that, that fewer but more intense hurricanes (which is questionable in itself) is proof of global warming.

I destroyed his position. Basically the evidence didn't fit the theory, so he shifted the talking point and stuck to it, science be damned.

It's all about using a vehicle for global dictatorship, the rest is diversion and distraction.
