US allies condemn abortion ruling; Blinken and his UN ambassador join critics
Leading US allies came out against abortion ruling
By Benjamin Weinthal | Fox News

JERUSALEM – In a series of highly unusual actions, the U.S. State Department and world leaders waded into the bitterly contentious domestic dispute over Friday's Supreme Court’s ruling on abortion.

"As Secretary of State, I usually avoid commenting on Supreme Court rulings," America’s top diplomat Antony Blinken announced in a statement.

"But today’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade has raised understandable questions and concerns across the world and within our [the Department of State’s] workforce."

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, also took the Supreme Court to task for its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson’s Women’s Health Organization.

"The Supreme Court has taken away the established, fundamental, constitutional right to abortion from millions of Americans. This is a cruel, dark and dangerous decision," Thomas-Greenfield said. "What makes this decision so heartbreaking is that Americans had a clear and unequivocal constitutional right stripped away.

"Roe v. Wade not only protected the right to privacy, it also reaffirmed basic principles of gender equality. … I have traveled the globe advocating for women’s rights. Now, this decision renders my own country an outlier among developed nations in the world."

The rapid-fire moves by American diplomats to attack the nation’s top judicial body has raised alarm bells among commentators that this is a second act of President Barack Obama’s "apology tour" and an expression of homegrown anti-Americanism.

Seriously?  The US Secretary of State is badmouthing the United States of America while on foreign soil?  This is wrong on so many levels.

Quote
"It is an absolute disgrace for U.S. officials to be apologizing on the world stage for decisions taken by the U.S Supreme Court," Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, told Fox News Digital.

"[It’s] a demonstration of a complete lack of respect for the rule of law in America and a sneering disregard for democracy in America."

The top U.S. officials trashing the Supreme Court’s ruling are "fundamentally anti-American," he added.

"All of this condemnation of America, much of it coming from the Biden administration, actively helps America's enemies across the world, including Russia and China," Gardiner said. "It is out of order for foreign leaders to be lecturing the United States on a Supreme Court decision. It is a matter of U.S. national sovereignty."
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

To condemn the abortion ruling is to condemn the U.S. for embracing life. Frankly, Blinken and his UN ambassador should be ashamed of themselves; they have no place condemning the SCOTUS ruling returning power to the States.

Let the World judge us. Frankly, I see it as the Lord God Jesus Christ, removing some of the evil that has prevailed in this country.

The State of Abortion Rights Around the World

............According to the Center for Reproductive Rights, a global legal advocacy organization, there are 24 countries in the world where abortion is completely prohibited. These include Andorra and Malta in Europe, El Salvador and Honduras in Central America, Senegal and Egypt in Africa, and the Philippines and Laos in Asia. Some 90 million (5%) women of reproductive age live in countries that prohibit abortion altogether...........

.............More than 50 countries and regions permit abortions only when the woman’s health is at risk. (Some refer only to physical health, while others include mental health.) These include Libya, Iran, Indonesia, Venezuela and Nigeria. Others have exceptions for cases of rape, incest, or fetal abnormality............

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
I frankly don't care what the individuals in the State Department think of the SCOTUS ruling.

They have no business ranting to the rest of the world about the legitimate (and, finally, IMHO, correct) decision to leave the issue in the hands of the individual States.

This is completely within the SCOTUS job description: it is their job.

Nowhere do I see where any of our employees in the Department of State is tasked with badmouthing the official position of the United States' Government to foreign governments or to the news media at any time on any issue.

All the hoopla is based not on what the ruling actually does (leave the issue up to the States), but on the media fabricated concept that somehow the overturning of Roe means the country has banned abortion altogether. That simply is not true, in that while some States laws will be more restrictive than before the ruling, others will likely be unaffected.

A little accuracy from the media would prevent a lot of this nonsense.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

The UN can self-fornicate, and their little Blinken, too.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

"Two words: nuclear effing weapons, okay?"

That's three words.
