New York (Knewz) — A vast majority of migrants in the U.S. are concerned about inflation but plan to continue sending money to relatives in their home country, a poll found.

Recently MoneyGram International Inc. released the results of a survey about how families in the U.S. are transferring money.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8The study found that 80 percent of migrant families are concerned about recession and global inflation and their ability to earn money. But nearly all — 98 percent — said they plan to continue sending money for the rest of the ear.

In fact, 79 percent of migrants tend to send more money back home when their native land experiences economic hardship. That was true in March when Russia started its invasion in Ukraine and MoneyGram reported a 41 percent spike in the number of money transfers to the Eastern European country.
