A court date has been set for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband following a recent DUI arrest, though no decision has been made on whether he will face criminal charges.

Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced Thursday that Paul Pelosi agreed to a court date of Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m. in Napa County Superior Court.

If criminal charges are filed, he will be arraigned at that time. Haley said her office is currently reviewing charges stemming from the DUI arrest of Paul Pelosi on May 29 in Napa County, California.

California Highway Patrol arrested 82-year-old Paul Pelosi for driving under the influence of alcohol with a .08% blood alcohol content or higher.

He was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections, cited and released.

   "The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi," Haley said. "This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County."

    House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's mega-millionaire husband allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol in Napa County, California, on Saturday night instead of calling an Uber or taxi, resulting in a car crash and thousands of dollars for his bail following his arrest on suspicion of drunk driving.

The California Highway Patrol said Paul Pelosi, 82, was driving a 2021 Porsche that was hit by a 2014 Jeep as Pelosi's car tried to cross State Route 29 in Napa, according to multiple reports.

Neither of the drivers in the crash was injured, and an investigation is ongoing, the CHP said.

Paul Pelosi was arrested at 11:44 p.m. and charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher as well as driving under the influence of alcohol, both misdemeanors. He was booked into Napa Valley Detention Center at 4:13 a.m. on Sunday with bail set at $5,000 and released at 7:26 a.m., according to Napa County records.

Now that fellow has a wrecked car, and even if he has collision the deductible is going to take food from his family's mouths.  Pelosi's insurer will do their best to escape culpability, and their case to screw this guy is a lot better if Pelosi skates as we all expect he will.

The Napa County District Attorney’s Office decided it will not release any dash or body camera footage from Paul Pelosi’s DUI arrest right now because it could "jeopardize" the ongoing investigation, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

"The Public Records Unit (PRU) has determined the Department possesses records responsive to your request," CHP told Fox News Digital in a letter in a response to a California Public Records Act request last week.
