Disney to the rescue! President Joe Biden will finally break 120 days of self-imposed press silence Wednesday when he grants a sit down interview to Disney-owned ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Their exchange will air at 11:35 pm in what has been been promised will be a malarkey-free zone.

Kimmel flagged the appearance Sunday during the broadcast of “Jimmy Kimmel Live: NBA Finals Game Night” on ABC, Variety reported.

He then took to social media to further promote the event, saying: “Our very elected President @JoeBiden visits @JimmyKimmelLive Wednesday night. No malarkey.”

Seems right, crappiest president in the history of America interviewed by one of the crappiest 'comedians' I've ever seen. I don't understand how making one sided political commentary is comedy. Carson was a liberal but he almost always kept it to himself on his shows as did Leno, this batch of airhead late night hosts since them are simply political hacks and not comedians.

I have no need to watch, even if it wasn't crap to know what will happen, Kimmel will swoon over how great Biden is and all of his accomplishments, and guns of course there will the praise for wanting to get rid of those evil black rifles and high powered 9mm that'll blow peoples lungs. They will probably talk about those ignorant conservatives clinging to their Bibles and guns being the cause of all these psychotics doing the mass shootings.

Biden pushes voters to polls for gun control and abortion in rare TV interview

President Joe Biden says gun control needs to be on the ballot in November if the public wants to see change.

Biden made the comments during a pretaped interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday in which he also discussed the challenge of passing legislation with a divided Democratic caucus, chided the nightly news for chasing “clicks,” and said a draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade would cause a “mini-revolution” if it holds.

“You’ve got to make sure that this becomes a voting issue,” Biden said of the push to pass gun control measures in the wake of several recent mass shootings.

Background checks, for example, are supported “overwhelmingly,” the president said.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are negotiating gun reform measures, but the scope of the discussions falls short of what Biden has called for in the past. The House passed a sweeping raft of legislation Wednesday night, but it faces high hurdles in the Senate.

Still, the president has largely held back from personal appeals to members of Congress as they hash out their differences.
