‘Jesse Watters Primetime’ comes in third as Fox News programming tops ratings chart
February 1, 2022 | Sierra Marlee

“Jesse Watters Primetime” found itself in the third-place slot on Thursday, just trailing behind two other Fox News programs, one of which he co-hosts!

Coming in behind “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and “The Five,” Watters finds himself in good company at the top of the ratings leaderboard, claiming the spot that normally belonged to Fox News opinion host Sean Hannity.

Watters managed to rake in a massive 3.01 million viewers on Thursday, and even went on to beat “The Five” in the key 25-54 age demographic, pulling in 526,000 viewers in that demo to “The Five’s” 511,000.

While the numbers dipped a bit on Friday, Watters was still able to accumulate a nice viewership of 2.65 million total with 347,000 demo viewers. Hannity maintained this third-place status on Friday as well, though it remains to be seen if Watters’ new show can maintain or grow its popularity over time.

The young Fox News host was able to enter the primetime scene with quite a splash, with the premiere of his eponymous show bringing in 3.8 million total viewers with 537,000 of those in the key demo. These ratings were compared to the viewership CNN’s Jim Acosta got during his “Democracy in Peril” special, which drew in a shocking 511,000 total average viewers. The difference between the shows was a mind-blowing 3.3 million viewers.
