Biden voting rights speech: Conservative group blasts president with mobile billboard in Atlanta
Stacey Abrams and several Georgia voting rights groups have already said they won't be in attendance at Biden's speech
By Houston Keene | Fox News

FIRST ON FOX: A conservative advocacy group will be driving a mobile billboard around Atlanta where President Biden is slated to speak Tuesday on the Democrats’ voting overhaul.

Honest Elections Project Action, a conservative 501(c)4 organization, will be running a mobile billboard around the Atlanta University Center Consortium at Clark Atlanta University torching Biden for his party’s plan to federalize the American electoral system.

Jason Snead, the executive director of Honest Elections Project Action, told Fox News Digital during a Monday phone interview that his organization is "trying to get the facts out" via the billboard.

Another slide on the electronic mobile billboard highlights the president’s four "Pinocchios" from the Washington Post for "some of his misleading claims" about the Peach State’s election laws.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Georgia Voting Rights Groups to Boycott Biden Speech

"We don't need even more photo ops," says the co-founder of Black Voters Matter. "We need action."

JAKE JOHNSON  |  January 11, 2022

Several prominent Georgia-based advocacy groups are planning to boycott President Joe Biden's voting rights speech in Atlanta on Tuesday, criticizing the event as yet another symbolic gesture in the face of concrete threats to the franchise nationwide.

"We don't need even more photo ops," Cliff Albright, co-founder of Black Voters Matter, told reporters during a press conference on Monday. "We need action, and that action is in the form of the John Lewis Voting Rights [Advancement] Act as well as the Freedom to Vote Act, and we need that immediately."

"President Biden and Vice President Harris must do more than deliver broad platitudes."
LaTosha Brown, another co-founder of the group, echoed that message, saying: "We're beyond speeches."

Black Voters Matter is part of a civil rights coalition that is urging Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to stay out of Georgia until they have a substantive plan to overcome the Senate's 60-vote filibuster rule and push voting rights legislation through Congress.
