At a time when the U.S. needed Covid-19 dialogue between scientists, Francis Collins moved to shut it down

This week, emails released through a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the American Institute for Economic Research revealed what I see as worrisome communication between Francis Collins, Anthony Fauci, and others within the National Institutes of Health in the fall of 2020. At issue was the Great Barrington Declaration, an open letter written in October 2020 and eventually signed by thousands of scientists. It argues that Covid-19 policy should focus on protecting the elderly and vulnerable, and largely re-open society and school for others.
At the time, Americans would have benefited from a broad debate among scientists about the available policy options for controlling the Covid-19 pandemic, and perhaps a bit of compromise. The emails tell us why that isn’t what we got. ... Statnews
This was just another manifestation of cancel culture. Let's face it, cancel culture invaded science in the field of climatic analysis, and for a decades, those scientists who disagree have been shouted down, first by proponents of the Anthropogenic Global Warming theories, and now by those who insist that Man is the driving force in climate variations. Using that same modus operandi, the proponents of lockdowns, masks, and even untried injections have, with abundant media assistance, silenced dissent when they could, and denigrated it when they could not, just as has been done with the concept of early onset treatments involving off the shelf combinations of drugs and supplements.
That they persist is no surprise.
Imagine:
If the Americans whose small businesses folded under lockdowns found out that the lockdowns were unnecessary...
If the schoolchildren whose educations were disrupted to their academic injury remember who insisted that happen to them unnecessarily (an entire generation)...
If those whose relatives died alone as a result of policies based on fear, hyperbolic models and projections of death, which were made nearly a result by policies which predictably amplified the number of those infected find out it was unnecessary...
If those who prove to be injured by treatments which were proclaimed as being prevention, treatments which did not work, were largely untested, with adverse results suppressed for pecuniary or political reasons discover that all this could have been avoided...
What will be the result of that?
Therefore, those who currently exercise their power over the narrative will do all in their power and some things which aren't in their legitimate spectrum of powers to preserve the narrative. That will include stealing elections, executive and even legislative overreach, and using every bit of available leverage against those judges called upon to limit those powers to ensure they do not do so.
But that will not prevail, not in the long run. Even Chaucer noted "Murder will out", and this, too, will become known.
Without the exposure, the stripping of the guilty of employment and status, this will continue, but even more the reaction of those who have unnecessarily suffered as a result is unpredictable.
With some generals making noises already in 2021 about being ready to face insurrection in 2024 (meaning turning the US military against Americans who disagree), such comments and concepts are only likely to fuel the belief among the masses that the lockdowns, mandates, and other impositions beyond the ordinary realm of Constitutional Authority are merely the opening gambits in a push for a totalitarian takeover, a real coup practiced against We, The People, who are the rightful arbiters of what powers the Federal government, or for that matter,
any government lawfully exercises.
Those of our employees who are attempting to usurp that authority are the ones engaging in a coup.
Using cancel culture methodologies to preempt scientific discourse, and then using the narrative thus preserved to justify crimes against humanity and the subjugation of the American People, is no excuse for the violation of the fundamental covenant which gives our government any legitimacy whatsoever.
January sixth events, largely incited by false flag operators from within the government, are being inflated to become the Reichstag Fire equivalent in this power play, and the other elements which parallel those in Europe in the 1930s are in full swing, and giving the eugenicists precedence in medicine only paves the way for the next round of horrors.
This must be stopped or the republic will be lost.
