The number of Astroworld festival lawsuits against Houston rapper Travis Scott has now doubled, with the most recent filing seeking $10 billion on behalf of 1,547 concertgoers.

Houston attorney Brent Coon, of Brent Coon and Associates, filed the suit, which includes the most plaintiffs of any law firm involved in litigation so far, according to a Monday release.

Scott, whose real name is Jacques B. Webster II, has denied any wrongdoing in the tragedy that resulted in the deaths of 10 young people. His lawyers recently filed a legal motion asking that he and his record label, Cactus Jack Music, be dismissed as defendants in 11 lawsuits. More motions are expected to be filed.

Coon has requested to consolidate all cases involved into one courtroom. A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 13.

His firm also plans to pursue legislative action to include crowd control planning specialists to certify events, mandated training programs for event preparation and criminal liability for any wrongdoing, per the release. Crowd surge and stampede expert G. Keith Still will work with Coon's legal team in the suit and also serve in an advisory role on the State of Texas Task Force on Concert Safety Panel announced by Governor Abbott.
