Could the U.S. Air Force Run Out of Bombers?

Cutting existing force structure in the hope of funding research-and-development has not always worked out in the past.

Here's What You Need to Know: The Air Force may be in for some turbulence.

“America’s bomber force is now in crisis.”

That’s the stark warning from retired U.S. Air Force general John Michael Loh, who led the service’s Air Combat Command from 1992 to 1995.

In an op-ed in Defense News, Loh clearly explained the mismatch between the Air Force’s growing requirement for bombers and the service’s ever-changing plan for actually meeting that requirement.

In short, the Air Force claims it needs more bombers, but its budgets keep cutting bombers rather than adding them.

I have never read/seen/heard any federal or state entity that said, I have enough money for now....
It is so constant that I think most folks just ignore the constant begging..
