In the midst of the ongoing border crisis, Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz filed legislation on Tuesday that would establish processing centers for illegal immigrants in areas such as Martha’s Vineyard and other Democrat-led communities.

Earlier this month, Cruz said: “For the past ten months, President Biden and his administration have willingly surrendered the United States’ southern border to dangerous criminal cartels, with no thought given to the South Texas border communities like McAllen and Del Rio, which are running low on resources from dealing with this massive influx of illegal immigrants,”  The legislation was introduced before Cruz made his statement.

“That’s why today I am introducing this crucial legislation to alleviate the massive overload at the southern border by establishing new ports of entry in Democrat-led communities such as North Hero, Vermont, where Bernie Sanders spends his summers, and Martha’s Vineyard, where Democrat elites host their cocktail parties,” Cruz continued.

My daughter lives near Dallas and visited a state park near there where an obvious contingent of Haitians were camped out in tents.

What will happen is the lefties will end up buying them out,and chances are they will get those houses for below market because the new owners will have no idea how much it is worth,and it will be "free money" to them they can spend and enjoy once they move back home into public housing.

Democrats believe that being privileged they are entitled to gated communities and armed security, while denying Americans the rights to be defended.  They don't want the rif-raf in their communities, they want them in your communities.  Like the French revolution, democrats do not intend to stop this crap until a few or more of them come under the blade or like justice.

Of course it's a non-starter as actual legislation, but Cruz has a way of poking the Left in ways that both hurt and are very funny to those of us on the Right.  (Hardly surprising for a man who can drop extended quotations from The Princess Bride for humorous effect at will.)
