You Will Obey: U.N. Demands Further Cuts to Gas, Coal, and Oil Production

The world must slash the output of gas, coal, and oil in the next ten years or global warming will reach dangerous levels, a U.N.-backed study released Wednesday demanded, before lamenting nobody appears to be heeding its continued advice on the matter as fossil fuel production is set to soar over next decade.

The report published by the U.N. Environment Program found while national governments have made ambitious pledges to curb greenhouse gas emissions, they are still not getting even close to matching promises to eliminate the fossil fuel industry that powers the global economy.

Many actually look to extract double the amount of fossil fuels in 2030 than what would be consistent with the 2015 Paris climate accord’s goal of keeping the global temperature rise below 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).

The inaction has infuriated the U.N. as well as the celebrities and politicians who constantly warn of an impending climate crisis unless “something is done” by first world nations.

I see no mention of the U.N. demanding that China, one of the biggest offenders, curb its air pollution.

I wonder how all those impoverished countries feel about the UN demanding they remain in poverty if they are not permitted access to life-giving hydrocarbons?

OK, lets start by cutting all services to the UN building especially heating, cooling and air circulation that depend on fossil fuels. Also the sanctimonious SOB's need to give up their fossil fuel powered cars and go all EV's...whoops not gonna get very far in NY traffic especially depending on solar for charging. It's always do as I say not as I do with these socialists.

The UN demands??  My *ss!!!  This organization has over stayed their welcome from my view. 

The USA is still 95%?  or 97% reliant on fossil fuel energy, and the lunacy of pushing battery cars and solar will NOT resolve the mass shortages as a result of doing so.  Brown outs will become commonplace in the USA due to complete ignorance in comprehending the vital necessity of those fuels.

And again, screw the UN!

There will be far more people dying from starvation and cold if this is implemented as farm yields will dry up with no natural gas to make fertilizer and nothing to burn to keep warm, than all the deaths by 'climate change'.
