White House: We Want to Keep Gas Prices Low, but ‘Climate Crisis Can’t Wait’

The White House indicated Wednesday that governments across the globe should not walk back green energy commitments despite growing fossil fuel shortages and price hikes.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked during the daily briefing if the White House is concerned that fuel shortages in Europe will impact green energy pledges ahead of the Glasgow Climate Change Summit in December.

“We certainly hope not,” Psaki replied, pointing to ongoing conversations with world leaders about the upcoming conference.

Psaki asserted the climate crisis was more important than cheaper fuel, calling global warming “one of the greatest national security crises the president sees.”

Fighting to save the environment, we might just have to kill America economy to do it!  Obama wanted $10 a gallon gas, and dog gone it, that's what we are gonna have to have!
