Playboy Celebrates First Male Cover Model

Playboy has put their first male bunny on the cover of their magazine, putting beauty influencer Bretman Rock on the cover of their October cover.

“The once-iconic magazine is celebrating Bretman Rock’s cover spot as a milestone for the LGBT community,” Breitbart reports. “The photo and accompanying video show Rock posing in Playboy’s traditional bunny costume, complete with high heels, rabbit ears, and bushy tail.”

“For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it’s all so surreal,” Rock said. “A total ‘is this even bleep happening right now?’ type of vibe. And I’m so pretty.”

Are you sure? He may have fully understood and catered to his marketing base but I'm not so sure being the hedonist he was that he wasn't a switch hitter. Not hat it matters since I stopped buying or viewing Playboy and it's like over forty years ago, but if I hadn't this would certainly result in the same decision.

Sports Illustrated has featured trannies and zaftig models in its swimsuit edition. That, along with all the woke pro-BLM, pro- gay, etc., articles have sent that magazine down the slippery slope of irrelevance. May Playboy follow suit!

Why did Cooper Hefner leave Playboy?
 Hefner started working for Playboy Enterprises, Inc. when he was in college. In early 2016, Hefner, who was a board observer at the time, left the company due to disagreements with then CEO Scott Flanders about the direction the company was taking.

It appears Cooper chose wisely!

I forgot how long ago it was, but SI lost me, when they started showing massive tats on what was otherwise beautiful female bodies.

Nope. I sorta vaguely remember reading an  interview with him where he admitted to having homo sex to see if he liked it. Or maybe he was just "going with the flow" during a party. Don't really remember the details,but I do remember him admitting it.

But as much of a horndog as Hefner was, he knew his audience, and even he knew there was still a lot more subscriptions to be sold of straight porn than there is in gay porn. Of course, Hefner's successors pretty much excised all the remaining porn a few years ago anyway, so... my assertion stands.

I assume (and you know what assuming something means) that the big thinkers at Playboy did some sort of reader analysis before issuing this edition.
 I haven't looked at a Playboy for decades (only read it for the articles...of course), but am I wrong to assume (there I go again) that they were still presenting voluptuous women in various states of undress?
When did Playboy go homo? Do they really have a substantial subscriber base that is looking for wimpy, homosexual males....or males, period?
