Carlson imagines that only serious Christians are vax-resistant? There are no people of other or no particular religious faith who are vax-resistant? All serious Christians are vax-resistant? Military higher-ups can't figure out and purge serious Christians by simpler, more ordinary means, such as observing church and chapel attendance?
Was Carlson actually being serious and that kind of dumb?
Well, we live in a day and age where simple, rational arguments like:
The Government has no constitutional authority to either insist I put something into my body, nor to insist I do not.
I know my medical history and find I may be more at risk of complications than the statistical averages would indicate.
Naturally acquired immunity is broader based and more effective, but is reduced by the second shot.
..just won't suffice.
By making this a religious issue, primarily because fetal cell lines were used in the development of the vaccines, then an enumerated Right becomes at issue. It doesn't have to be a "religious" objection, only a deeply held moral conviction that a person will partake of nothing even remotely related to abortion.
Funny how people can go all rabid about animal testing, but not human fetal tissue being used.
