General Frank McKenzie, also said it was "unlikely that the vehicle and those who died in the August 29 drone strike were associated with ISIS-K or were a direct threat to US forces".

A top U.S. military commander has conceded as a "mistake" the drone strike by the American forces in Kabul last month, targeting ISIS-K terrorists days after a suicide bombing at the city airport, that killed 10 civilians, including up to seven children.

Briefing reporters on the results of the investigation of the August 29 strike, General Frank McKenzie, the commander of the US Central Command, also said it was "unlikely that the vehicle and those who died in the drone strike were associated with ISIS-K or were a direct threat to US forces".

I can't believe it was a "coincidence" it was a US aid worker who was killed.  What are the odds?  It looks to me as if it was some sort of test by the US of our "allies,"  the Taliban, where the US said show us good faith by letting us know where the ISIS leader can be struck.  After all, Gen. Milley assured the world we had good intelligence on where to hit the guy.  Good intelligence over there would probably mean live intelligence from "allies."  Gen. Milley can't disclose it that were the case as it would show our military leader got taken by the Muslims. tri22
