That's exactly correct. The issue isn't that we left Afghanistan - President Trump had that tee'd up already, so we were moving toward the exit - the issue is that this (mal)administration bungled what should have been a pretty do-able exit in ways that will reverberate for decades, and that brought shame and calumny on this nation.

Anthony Blinken just confirmed the majority of refugees evacuated from Kabul, Afghanistan to the United States via military aircraft were not properly vetted.

Based on this there’s a very good chance we just relocated thousands of terrorist sympathizers onto American soil.

Biden ordered that it be finished by 9/11, at any costs no matter what. Biden was itching to make his 9/11 Victory Lap (Peace in Our Time).
That is why they left 85 billion dollars in sensitive military equipment behind, along with countless Americans and allies.
There simply wasn't time to get it all out before Biden's 9/11 propaganda deadline. I Ended the 20 Year War! I am God!!
Biden's ego is the only reason there was such a rush to leave.
