Virginia health department probes measles cases linked to Afghan refugees

RICHMOND, Va. (WJLA) — After four Afghan refugees who arrived in the U.S. tested positive for measles, the Virginia Department of Health is attempting to contact people who may have been exposed to one of the refugees.

Health officials released a list of locations and dates and times where the potential measles exposures may have occurred.

Yet another sub-F-up in LIEden's Kabul Kluster-F. No one among LIEden's Krew thought about the fact that MMR vaccinations are not common in Afghanistan, if they are done at all. After the break-out that happened in Mouseland in 2014 (IIRC) courtesy of an unvaccinated foreign tourist, there is no excuse for not realizing a week or two quarantine would be advisable for refugees from a country where few are vaccinated against anything.

Just when you resigned yourself that maybe, just maybe, a jab against Wuflu might outweigh some negatives along comes the news that you might need to update your measles protection also.  Along with an affinity for pederasty, ie, older men having sex with young boys, bacha bazi as it is known locally, and those same--or different--older men's preference for child brides, it seems some of the unvetted Afghan "refugees" are bringing measles to America.

Wisconsin, Virginia report measles cases among Afghan refugees

Six people who recently traveled to the United States after fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan have been diagnosed with measles, officials said Tuesday.

The cases in Virginia and Wisconsin are being reported four days after the U.S. halted in-bound flights of Afghan evacuees following the discovery of a few cases of measles among new arrivals.
