State Department voices concerns over all-male Taliban government

The State Department on Tuesday expressed concerns over the makeup of the new interim Afghan government announced by the Taliban, including the lack of female leaders and the past actions of some of those appointed to top posts.

A State Department spokesperson said in a statement shared with The Hill that although the Taliban “has presented this as a caretaker cabinet,” the U.S. “will judge the Taliban by its actions, not words.”

“We have made clear our expectation that the Afghan people deserve an inclusive government,” the spokesperson added.


The statement went on to note that the list of names announced by the Taliban earlier Tuesday “consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates and no women.”

So we made terrorists one of the best armed military in the world, they are hanging people from OUR helicopters and hunting down our folks in hiding with OUR bio-metric equipment and we are upset because they don't have women in the administration.... priorities anyone?

I have been a cynic when it comes to the government for many, many, many years.

But this whole Afghanistan episode has been such  a total screwed up mess it has made me distrust any word from their lying mouths.

IF they really thought that the Taliban would suddenly leap into the modern world and honor women....or their word...it concerns me even more.
Either they are naive, stupid liars or they are just continuing with their lies to try to make themselves look like victims of the lying Taliban.

Either way it totally disturbs and depresses me. 9999hair out0000

The state department is acting like an orphaned child begging for relevance - when in fact the orphaned child murdered his parents...
