Nowhere to hide, Joe: President adopts fetal position as he crumbles under questioning and tries to blame Trump for Afghanistan catastrophe after 13 troops were killed along with 90 Afghans in ISIS bomb attacks
President Biden finally addressed the Kabul bomb attacks on Thursday, eight hours after they happened
Thirteen US troops were slaughtered along with 90 civilians by two ISIS suicide bombers at the airport
The crowd was a ripe target because of the disastrous handling of the US evacuation from Kabul
Thousands have been gathering at the airport for nearly two weeks trying to get out of Afghanistan
Biden had, until last night, refused to take the blame for the shambolic evacuation effort
He said last night that he does take responsibility for the chaos, but that he stands by his decision
The 78-year-old President however became frustrated, gripping his notebook and bowing his head
He seemed to lose track of his words and widen his eyes while taking questions from pre-approved reporters
Critics say he has blood on his hands because his failure to get everyone out efficiently led to the attack
Former President Donald Trump says the attack would never have happened under his leadership
Biden has vowed to continue the US's evacuation of the nearly 1,000 Americans who remain there
He promised to get it done by August 31 - four days - but says he will not 'leave' anyone behind
Canada, Norway, Poland and Holland have all stopped evacuating their citizens
The last of Britain's evacuation flights leave today; the UK government says all single nationality citizens have now been rescued
