Twitter Deems Trump A Threat But Allows Taliban Account To Spread Propaganda

Twitter is coming under fire for its decision to ban former President Donald Trump, while allowing the social media account for “Zabihullah Mujahid,” one of the official spokespersons for the Taliban, to broadcast information about “military units” moving into Kabul, Afghanistan.
Jerome Riviere, a French politician, expressed his outrage on Twitter writing, “Freedom and democracy are not doing well when #Twitter continues to ban #Trump’s account but relays the #Taliban spokesperson’s without any second thoughts.”
Mujahid’s account is not verified but appears authentic due to his follower count of well over 287,000, and frequent reposts from national media outlets.
